Ideal location for a family. This lovely ground floor apartment is situated within El Chaparral, Torrevieja, South Costa Blanca. El Chaparral has several bars and restaurants, a newsagent, and grocery and hardware stores, all within walking distance. You will also find a car hire agent, but if you do not wish to rent a car, a local bus runs regularly (every 20-30 minutes) to the town centre and Carrefour hypermarket. There is a local market every day of the week.

The local aquapark, open during the summer months, is within a 10 minute walk of the apartment and, although small, is ideal for young children. A larger aquapark, suitable for all the family, is a few kilometers away. A short walk away, is the nature reserve and salt lake, which is a great spot for birdwatching. During the cooler months, this is also popular with walkers and cyclists. The nature reserve also provides a two hour walk to La Mata beach.

The apartment is situated around 100m from Playa de los Locos, one of the nicest and most popular beaches in Torrevieja.

There are Spanish and International (English, Irish, Italian, Chinese) restaurants, bars and shops within a five minute walk catering for all tastes.

The AP-7 motorway provides easy access to places such as Benidorm, Alicante, Murcia and Cartagena, with plenty to see and do. The buses run along the beach front into Torrevieja town centre with its shops, indoor market, open-air market on the harbour front, and of course the marble walkway which takes you all around the beach front and into the harbour.

The 'Habaneras' shopping centre is a short drive away, where you will also find a bowling alley and cinema.
