El Campello, known as the heart of the white coast of Spain, is located on the Costa Blanca between the beautiful historic city of Alicante and the lively holiday resort of Benidorm. Originally just a small fishing village situated between the mountains and 23kms of white sandy beaches and coves, it is now an important seaside holiday town.

The Paseo Del promenade is almost 3kms long and it is lined with a huge choice of authentic Spanish restaurants and bars, all servings delicious tapas. The El Campello marina and port sit at one end of the bay, offering a lively fish market and a selection of restaurants and cafes. The surrounding countryside and mountains are spectacular and with in half an hour ride from the coast. The scenery is beautiful and dotted with fascinating mountain villages while the views from the mountains rival those from anywhere else in Spain.

The coast provides ideal conditions for water sports including wind surfing, water skiing, sailing and scuba diving. The area has over 20 prestigiously laid out golf courses, and walkers and cyclists will enjoy the many challenges the hills behind the coast have to offer and there are opportunities for horse riding, tennis etc.

Public transport is nearby, where you can get buses or trains to Alicante, Benidorm or any of the smaller local towns.

This is an ideal location to catch the Americas Cup as the race is intending to go past El Campello down to Alicante.
