When Buying property in Bulgaria it is important to know the location of the property, and to explore the different regions. Although some investors are happy to reserve a property without visiting, for the average buyer is it essential to compare properties in their settings and get a feel for an area before purchasing. A viewing trip to Bulgaria and being escorted by a local, will help you get to know various areas and local facilities.
The term ‘viewing trips’ means quite literally that. You are there to look without feeling obliged to buy - this is simply a chance to be introduced to various areas and shown around by a local – someone who is aware of laws, the purchasing procedure, local builders and developments, the general property market , and what property is available at the best price.
Many people will be visiting Bulgaria for the first time, it is therefore extremely useful (and advisable) to have a knowledgeable local property agent helping you take those first steps into what may be for you, an unknown market. Clients will be taken to available properties within their price range, enabling the client to compare properties in their individual locations making it easier to decide on the type of property that will suit them the most. All clients benefit from having their own dedicated representative looking after them on a one-to one basis. During the viewing trip, clients will also be shown around the local towns, shops, restaurants and other facilities, giving the visit more of a ‘holiday’ feel.
All that is required from the client is to advise us of suitable travel dates and airport, and we will do the rest. Although we are unable to offer free viewing trips to Bulgaria, we do benefit from discounted flights and accommodation and a 4 day visit will cost only £199. This cost is refunded on purchase.
Should you decide to purchase whilst in Bulgaria, a holding deposit of 2000 euros is required to take the property off the market. For this you would need to have a credit card handy. The majority of developments carry an excellent payment plan, which will be explained to you by your sales advisor who can also help with bank accounts, furnishings or any other requirements you may have.
